Change

No one can persuade another to change. Each of us guards a gate of change that can only be opened from the inside. We cannot open the gate for another, through argument or emotional appeal.

We all must choose to let change in. Although it is often unwelcome, change is good. It takes a lot of courage to let go of the familiar and embrace the new. Its how we grow, its how we build ourselves up, it's how we become the best versions of ourselves. Ultimately, we might lose something through change, but it is almost certain that we will gain something better.
